Logo Design Project - Your assignment is to create your own company and design a logo for that company. Suggestions for your company: pet shop, hair salon, clothing store, restaurant, doctor's office, shoe store, etc. The list is endless - just be sure that you choose a business that you are interested in because we'll be working with it for a while. Be sure and also come up with a name for your business.
- Remember those 5 rules of designing logos that we took notes on? Well, you need to keep those in mind when coming up with your design.
- I want to you to do some research online and decide on the type of business you want to create. Research logos and brainstorm ideas for what you want your logo to look like.
- You will need to sketch at least 5 different ideas for your logo in your sketchbook. These ideas need to be different ideas, not just 5 different versions of the same idea! You can start that today and we'll finish it tomorrow in class. Before you begin to design your logo in photoshop, I need to approve your logo design from your sketches.
- Also, be sure and remember that you need to develop your own original idea - don't just take something you found online and turn it in as your design - that's plagiarism!
