High School Art

Art making is a continual learning process, and my goal as the high school visual arts teacher is to continue to build upon the fundamentals that students learned in both elementary and middle school art. High school courses focus highly on individual creativity and expression.

Listed below are all of the courses currently offered in the visual arts department. Course descriptions and expectations are included, as well as links to current projects. I will also upload links to pictures of current student work periodically, so be sure to check back often!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!

Participants will also be exposed to art history and important figures and works in the visual art lexicon. This is a prerequisite to ALL other classes in the visual arts department.
